About Marcia & Little Black Dress
My Story
For a long time, I carried a quiet sense of self-doubt. The kind that shows up even when things look fine from the outside.
Wondering if I belonged in the room.
Wondering what others might be thinking.
That kind of noise is disruptive—and more common than we admit.
Over time, I realized something important: I wasn’t alone in that feeling. Most women experience it in one form or another. We just carry it differently, and talk about it (or don’t) in our own ways.
What helped me wasn’t a dramatic shift.
It was consistency.
Small, grounding habits I returned to every day.
Wearing jewelry. Caring for my skin.
Not as a performance—but as a reminder.
When I skip those habits, I feel it—like I’ve short-changed myself of something steady and positive.

Naturally beautiful isn’t a trend here
As I became more intentional with skincare, something else changed too.
I stopped feeling the need to cover so much.
Minimal makeup. A more natural look.
Feeling comfortable in my own skin—literally—shifted how I see myself.
It still does.
Naturally beautiful isn’t a trend here.
It’s self-recognition and acceptance.
It’s stepping away from what you’ve been told to be and deciding what feels right for you.
Style and beauty should bring a smile to your face when you catch your reflection.

Whether you are here to explore stunning jewelry or luxurious skincare, host a sparkling get-together, or discover how you can grow and shine with your own business—there’s something here just for you:
A Few More little Detail about Me
in case you’re curious
I love to cook. Always have.
I’m fearless in the kitchen.
I gravitate toward European red wines—usually enjoyed alongside whatever I’m making.

I’m a morning person.
Coffee, yes—dark, strong, and please don’t add anything to it.
I work best with soft classical music for a couple of hours a day.
After that, I need real quiet.

Give me a good notebook and a gel pen
(erasable preferred, gel non-negotiable)
and I’m happy.
I’m early by nature.
I like to arrive, take in a space, and choose the spot that feels right.
Just-in-time makes me anxious.
I’m more comfortable with odd numbers than even ones.
I’m not sure why—they just feel right to me.
I’ll rewatch a very select few favourite shows—
but only if I can binge the whole story.
I like to be immersed.

When I work, I like plans or loose structure.
On vacation, don’t schedule me.
Freedom only.
People are often surprised by my sense of humour—and that I love to cook.

My husband keeps me steady.
He’s my constant.
Team building matters deeply to me.
I want others to experience what I’ve experienced.

I value honesty.
When what people show doesn’t match how they live, I notice—and I pull back.
Warm destinations, meaningful conversations,
and positive affirmations will always have my attention.
